McKenzie Pickups has decided to now hold your imported parcels for up to 6 months now free of charge rather than 3 months.
We understand how hard it is during COVID19 to get around and pickup items that are ready for you to get. We want to help you out and ensure you are not losing money and not losing your package.
Unlike other companies like Canada Post or UPS where you are given X amount of days (usually 14 days) to pickup your package or it gets thrown in the garbage!! To us, this is unreasonable.
You shouldn't have to buy something online, wait weeks, even months for it to arrive only to miss the deadline to pickup locally as you would lose the product and the money paid for it. The company that you purchased from is not going to refund you.
To ensure that it doesn't happen here, we're now extending our pickup times to a full 6 months!
After 6 months time, if you have not picked up your mail from our facilities, you will need to pay storage rental fees or your mail will be abandoned per mail regulations. This extension will continue into the future until further notice in 2022.
